Q. “Is it necessary to make an appointment ?”
A. We prefer appointments for the trying on of bridal gowns. Appointments are of course obligation free. They allow us to ensure that you are assisted by one of our trained consultants and long waits are avoided. Appointments for evening and Saturdays are most important as we tend to be fully booked. Please call our staff at Brides of Sydney at Sydney City, Parramatta or Miranda, – they can help you to make an appointment time that suits you. Q. “How long before my wedding date should I commence shopping for a gown?”
A. It is best to prepare early. Selected bridal gowns require up to 4 months lead time for delivery into store. A further 8 weeks should be allowed for final fittings and having the bridal gown at home, finished and ready for the big day 2 weeks prior to the wedding date. It is best to be making a decision on your gown 6 – 8 months prior to the wedding.

Q. “I anticipate toning up and will be losing some weight before the big day. What happens if I order a gown and then my size changes?”
A. Our staff are trained to evaluate these issues carefully and advise you accordingly. On some occasions it is appropriate to order the wedding dress and follow the order with sizing at a later stage.
